WriteChemo.com applications are developed with the practicing oncologist in mind. The application will reduce the time to write a chemotherapy order, improve accuracy and minimize errors. It is designed to be flexible and easy to generate new templates on the fly. All WriteChemo applications are platform independent i.e. PC, Mac or Linux compatible. (All applications require FlashPlayer 9 and Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.1 or higher to be installed on users system.)
WriteChemo comes in 3 flavors: WriteChemoBE, WriteChemoSE and WriteChemoCE.
WriteChemoBE is the basic version, pure web-based and accessible from anywhere, on IE, Firefox or Safari browers on PC, Mac or Linux systems. More than 250 regimens in the database with most of them referenced and the regimen number is growing steadily. 2 different formats for printing orders and a calendar view for patients and schedulers. It does not save patient information or prepared orders. (see comparison chart)
WriteChemoSE is standard version based on Adobe AIR platform that integrates desktop application with internet flexibility. It has all the same features of WriteChemo basic but allows for saving patient information for retrieval of last cycle and quickly reordering next cycle. Patient chemotherapy order history and compendia listing of regimens by disease is planned. (see comparison chart)
WriteChemoCE is custom edition based on same platform as WriteChemoSE but the program and the database is customized for group practice who would like to share patient data and integrate data into their electronic records.
